This 50LB A2L Refrigerant Recovery Cylinder is built to industry standards, manufactured in ISO 9001-certified facilities, and compliant with DOT-4BA-400 specifications and AHRI guidelines. It is DOT and TC certified for safe and reliable use. DESIGNED FOR A2L REFRIGERANTS – used to recover, store, and transport A2L refrigerants, which are mildly flammable and used in a wide variety of refrigeration and air conditioning applications. Constructed from high-grade welded steel and finished with a corrosion-resistant powder coating, this refillable tank offers heavy-duty durability. Each unit is X-rayed and hydrostatically tested, pre-purged, and vacuum-ready for refrigerant filling. It features a dual-access Y-valve for both liquid and vapor service. Equipped with reverse (left-hand) threads and a built-in pressure relief valve, both of which are critical safety features. The reverse threading prevents accidental connection to equipment not rated for flammable refrigerants, reducing the risk of cross-contamination or improper use. The pressure relief valve ensures safe venting in case of overpressure, helping to prevent tank rupture or uncontrolled gas release. Also available in a 30LB version – SKU: YSN301R-A2L
